Final Beta build (Noah)
Well, this project was a trip. I learned a lot about what a team needs in game development. It's not just having the ideas, it's also about communication, the ability to perform the tasks at a constant pace, and the drive to learn constantly. I found myself lost in this project a few times this semester, I realized now more than ever how much I need to learn new things in scripting and the production process overall.
My main contribution this time around was adding a ton of sound effects to the game, I even created an audio manager system that allowed for ease in adding sound effects to our scripts. It was cool playing around with my MacBook, trying to tweak each sound effect I wanted to put into the game. After a lot of playtesting, the response to the sound design overall was positive which I'm glad. However, I'm definitely not relying on webGL builds anymore as they seem to have cursed our game with crashes. Will note that for the next time I work on a project.
This semester for me was full of lessons to carry with me, and I'm glad I had the experience to make another game with another team again.
